Our first trip to the Virginia International Raceway for the SCCA Major's Event was a success. The crew learned valuable information for this years SCCA Runoffs. The new Hoosier radial tires performed flawlessly and the wet tires were key. The Kohler Engine ran smooth all weekend. In Saturday's race, Jason brought home a 2nd place finish among some great P1 competition. On Sunday, Jason turned the quickest lap of the race and was running in the top three when an off in the wet grass relegated him to a 10th place finish. Not the result we were hoping for but the quickest lap of the race was a great sign on the progress the team made at a new track! And most of it in the wet. Off to Blackhawk May 4 & 5 for the May The Fourth Be With You Major's is next for Wynnfurst Racing.
